Holiday Inn Maldives – Holiday Inn Kandooma Maldives – Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma, lies just 35 km south of the Male International Airport, via a forty minute speedboat ride to the South Male Atoll. 13 hectares in area, It is named after the Kandoo tree which is found in abundance on the island. Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives recently participated in the 10th Hotel Asia International Culinary Challenge with the Resort culinary team entering 15 competition categories and were awarded with medals in every entered class.

Kandoo Kids will boast over 500sqm of kids fun space, making it one of the biggest fun filled children entertainment zone’s in the Maldives comprising of an indoor air-conditioned fun zone and an outdoor splash pool (opening late January 2015). The air-conditioned indoor fun zone comprises of 2 fun filled activity levels. Ground level kid zone caters for 4 – 7 year olds and upstairs for 8 – 12 years old. Both levels are colorfully decorated and furnished to capture the children’s imagination and include a library, art & crafts specialty area and interactive gaming room on the upper level and ball pit and craft making on the lower level.

• Resort has a green well-planned territory
• A lot of restaurants/bars of different cuisine for different wishes. Food on breakfast/dinner (buffet) is not very varied, but delicious
• Water-sports activity
• Rooms are very stylish and modern, design of rooms are all the same – white and blue colors. All rooms are very spacious and romantic, clean and fresh. BEACH VEIW VILLA doesn’t have direct access to the beach
• Kids club
• Beach doesn’t have comfortable entering the sea. There are a lot of stones
• Service is attentive

The resort is a 45 minute speedboat ride from the Velana International Airport. The island is not too large and is comfortable. All the staff are very hospitable & friendly.
The resort itself does not have a very good house reef but there is plenty of water sports available and divers are also accommodated. As there is an adjacent local island, there is not much swimming area. The beach area is also not very large.
There are garden rooms, beach villas and water villas available on this resort. All villas are spacious and well decorated giving a sense of comfort within the accommodation.
The resort has and impressive kids club with a variety of activities for children which makes this resort ideal for families with small children. There are a lot of family oriented activities available on this resort. In addition to this, the resort also hosts a spa facility as well as a fully equipped gym and also facilitates outdoor sports courts.
There are 2 restaurants on this island, one main restaurant and one signature restaurant. Both cater to all guests. There is also a 2 bars where you can enjoy a variety of drinks in a relaxing setting.

Кроме прочих категорий, отель предлагает самый оптимальный вариант размещения семьям с детьми, либо компаниям друзей, в номерах 2 Bedroom Family Beach House – отдельно стоящие двухэтажные виллы с выходом на пляж. На первом этаже: открытая зона отдыха, душ, гостиная зона с телевизором, обеденным столом, отдельным санузлом с душем. На втором этаже: 2 спальни c кроватью kingsize и двумя раздельными кроватями twin, в каждой спальне – ванная комната, душ, балкон, минибар. Стоит отметить, что при отеле имеется станция, опресняющая воду, которая предлагается гостям в неограниченном количестве.

Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma is located on Kandooma island in the South Male atoll, which is 35 km from Velana international airport, 40 minutes by speedboat (24/7), and one of the advantages is a free transfer for children under 4 years old. The hotel belongs to the world famous IHG hotel chain.
The hotel makes your stay pleasant by a warm and relaxing atmosphere, impeccable service, a variety of entertainment activities and delicious food. An excellent option for journey with children, because the hotel provides with a lot of amenities for kids such as children’s pool, children’s club for free (4-12 years), babysitting services: on request – chargeable, an animation program for children (entertainment and educational events), play station.
In addition to other categories, the hotel offers the most optimal accommodation for families with children or for group of friends, such as 2 Bedroom Family Beach House – detached two-storey villas with the direct access to the beach. On the ground floor there is open seating area, shower, living area with TV, dining table, private bathroom with shower. Bedrooms are on the second floor: 2 bedrooms with a kingsize bed and two twin twin beds, each bedroom has a bathroom, shower, balcony, minibar.
