We are fast approaching the end of the year 2015 and it has been a great year so far. Nothing says it best like the Festive Program Kuramathi loves to plan at the end of December. With fun and exciting programs for both adults and children alike, Festive fun is guaranteed this year as well.
The program starts with the classics such as sunset cruise aided with local drummers performing in the middle of the ocean. A cocktail party is also held at Dhoni Bar to toast during Christmas Eve in a secluded destination as
Maldives where sand white beaches act as the typical snowflakes. The evening then sets off to whet the appetites with a very deliciously spread Gala buffet in Haruge and Malaafaiy restaurants. Sports events are also held during this 9 day agenda, where football, volleyball and beach Olympics test the mettle of all the mighty contenders.
Cooking classes, and demonstrations of coconut plucking, handicraft lessons to weave palm fronds also make their
way into the Festive Program this year. New Year countdown takes place at Fung Bar on 31st of December to bid farewell to the year 2015 and to welcome 2016 with pomp and merriment.
