I was impressed by the stylish design of the resort, by its art concept and especially by Sebastian’s legend, the man who discovered this island in 1954 and was the first resident (it looks like Robinson’s Cruzo story). The main concept of the resort is artistically designed around Sebastian’s legend. In rooms you can read Seb’s journal. In the art workshop area you may create a ship, similar to Seb’s ship. You may find some other traces of Seb’s story in the whole territory of the resort. It’s funny and very interesting to explore!
The resort is located on Raa atoll, 45 minutes by a seaplane from the airport. The area of reception is very modern and stylish. All the rooms have beautiful design and colored in warm shades. The area of the beach is really wide and vast. The sand is natural, soft. The island is very green and big. I liked exploring it by bicycle.
The resort has an amazing playground and mini club for kids. In the workshop area you can enjoy art classes and painting. For adults there is a wonderful spa center offering all kinds of massages and treatment.
I would recommend this resort for those who prefer to explore interesting concepts of resorts and artistic design both for families and couples.
The best diving and snorkelling spots you may find are just 5-10 min away from the island and can be reached by boat. Snorkling is available on the territory of the resort in 150m from the coast near water villas. It’s better to take a trip by boat for snorkling (more recommended, free of charge) according to the schedule of activities (if the weather is good, daily) and the equipment is free of charge. They have very professioanl team in diving center and it’s nice a have a diving session here.
All non motorised kinds of sport are free of charge for all guests (except a transparant kayak)
There are some excursions included into the concept of the resort (Sunset fishing snorkling trip and sunset criuse are free of charge)
