Anantara Kihavah Villa’s General Manager James Hewitson (pictured left) recently welcomed AC Milan’s star forward player Fernando Torres (centre) as he holidayed in the Maldives at the exclusive all pool villa resort located on Kihavah Huravalhi in Baa Atoll. Fernando, one of the highest-paid football players in the world, enjoyed spending Christmas on the island with his family. While at the resort Fernando joined the staff to officially open their newly laid football ground, pictured here.
It was Fernando’s first festive season off the pitch in 7 years and he commented, “Just being able to have quality time with the family this year was amazing and we particularly enjoyed the private day trip from the resort to a local island, without any press or security, just me and my family.”
