The festive season is set to take on an island-inspired character across Marriott International’s Luxury Group portfolio in the Maldives, with five resorts preparing distinctive programmes for Christmas and New Year 2026–2027.

The Festive Early Bird Offer is available for bookings from 15 September to 15 November 2026, for stays between 20 December 2026 and 10 January 2027. The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands: Festive Art and Island Life
A 50-minute luxury speedboat journey from Malé brings guests to The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, where contemporary art will form part of the 2026 festive experience.
From 20 December, French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet, in collaboration with the House of Ruinart, will introduce bespoke installations across the resort. The creative programme will include a specially designed Christmas tree, destination-inspired ornaments and colourful installations culminating at Beach Shack.

Located just a 15-minute speedboat journey from Malé, JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort will celebrate the season with “Enchanted Soirée: A Season of Endless Wonder.”
The programme combines culinary experiences, wellness at Spa by JW, lagoon adventures and activities for younger guests. Its residential-style two-bedroom villas provide additional space for families and groups, while the three-bedroom Ocean Residence features a private gym, spa treatment room and lagoon-access waterslide.

In Dhaalu Atoll, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort will celebrate its 10th anniversary with “Chapter X: Celebrating 10 Years Through the Island’s Story.”
The programme takes inspiration from the island’s four ecological zones — Lagoon, Beach, Jungle and Coast — creating different ways for guests to discover marine life, nature, gastronomy, wellness and Maldivian heritage.
Festive celebrations will include a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, Santa’s arrival and family activities, followed by curated dining, wellness experiences and a New Year’s Eve celebration overlooking the Indian Ocean.

W Maldives: Made the Revelry List
For travellers seeking a more energetic festive atmosphere, W Maldives will bring its social island character to the celebrations.
Located in North Ari Atoll and reached by a 25-minute seaplane journey from Malé, the resort combines marine adventures with festive entertainment. Guests can explore the house reef, join nurse shark excursions and sunset cruises, or enjoy dining by the beach.
From 23 December to 1 January, “Made the Revelry List” will feature daytime experiences and evening celebrations. Further north, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa will welcome guests to Shaviyani Atoll with “Enchanted Island, Midnight in Paradise.” The resort is accessible via a scenic 50-minute seaplane journey from Malé.
