A Day for Action..

Every year, the Earth yields billions of tons of natural resources and at some point, in the not too distant future, it will run out.

That’s why we must think again about what we throw away – seeing not waste, but opportunity. Recycling is a key part of the

circular economy, helping to protect our natural resources. Therefore, there is no doubt that recycling is essential to save the future

of our planet and humanity.

Global Recycling Day was created in 2018 and is celebrated on 18 March each year to help recognise, and celebrate, the importance

recycling plays in preserving our precious primary resources and securing the future of our planet. It is a day for action, for the

world to come together to put the planet first, and to change the mind-set of governments, businesses, communities and individuals

around the world, to see recyclables as a resource.

For that specific purpose, Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences prepared an exciting program on that occasion.

10.00: Beach Clean Up at Sunrise Beach (bookings are required)

14.00: Staff Upcycling Competition Designs Revealing at Baa-zar

15.00: Pool Party at Baa-zar

Don’t miss the opportunity, and join Amilla’s recycling and upcycling activities, and do your part for the environment!
