What is Imuga?
The Imuga portal is the official platform managed by Maldives Immigration for submitting travel-related declaration forms. Previously, travelers were required to fill out both arrival and departure declaration forms before entering or leaving the Maldives. However, under the new rules, the departure declaration is no longer mandatory.
New Rules for Maldives Travelers
- No Departure Declaration: Passengers departing from the Maldives are no longer required to submit the Departure Declaration Form, eliminating an extra step and ensuring a seamless exit process for all visitors.
- Arrival Declaration Still Required: Guests arriving in the Maldives must still complete the Maldives Traveller Declaration Form via the Imuga portal within 96 hours before arrival.
