New Water Bungalows with Pool Opening in November
As planned, the resort will welcome its first guests to the brand-new Water Bungalows with Pool from 1 November 2026. The new accommodation is expected to further enhance Kuramathi’s diverse collection of villas, offering guests an elevated overwater experience in one of the Maldives’ most popular island destinations.
Beach Villas Reopening from 1 August
In an encouraging update, Kuramathi has confirmed that a limited inventory of Beach Bungalows and Superior Beach Villas will reopen from 1 August 2026.
Originally scheduled to remain closed for the full duration of the enhancement project, these villas will once again be available for guests, providing additional accommodation options during the summer season.
The resort will also reopen an extended section of its house reef, allowing guests to enjoy more snorkeling opportunities while selected work continues in designated areas.
