Please note that the management of LUX* North Male Atoll has decided to implement the below procedures for all SPLIT STAY (inter resort/ Safari boat/ guest house)
For all SPLIT STAY at LUX* North Male Atoll will need to follow the below procedures:
- A negative PCR test must be emailed prior to the arrival and the sample for the PCR test must be taken not more than 48 hours before.
- Therefore this has to be done by the guest before their arrival to LUX* North Male Atoll Resort & Villas. Guest can coordinate this with the property they are staying at the time of the SPLIT STAY Request.
- Negative PCR test is required for any guest arriving from Safari’s or Local Guest Houses even though a SPLIT STAY form is in place.
We remind you that the PCR test at the resort is USD 125 per person.

One & Only Reethi Rah
PCR test is available at a cost of 199 USD per guest and can be charged to the guest villa account. Testing takes place at the resort and the sample is sent to one of the certified laboratories in the Maldives. Results are available within 24 hours and will be shared with the guest when received.
Tests should be scheduled with the guests’ Butler on arrival and it is recommended that the test be done 48 hours prior to departure.

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa
- In order to avoid potential risk arising from stays in less controlled areas, the resort will not accept split stay reservations from tourists who initially stay in a guest house, city hotel, inhabited island, or safari boat.
- Guest who have already made a booking before 4th Jan, 2021 to stay at Sheraton Maldives after a stay in a guest house, city hotel or safari boat, must present a negative PCR result dated no more than 24 hours prior to arrival at the resort, irrespective of the pre-arrival PCR test required for entry into the Maldives.
- On arrival, we will provide a PCR test request form to every guest, identifying those who require a further test before returning home. PCR tests will only be performed for guests who require a test prior to departure, be it airline regulations or immigration rules of their home country. These tests will also be availed to symptomatic guests staying at the resort. Guests must advise of test requirements on arrival at the resort, as there are different rules for different airlines / countries.
- Sample will be taken 96 hours (4 days) prior to departure and sent to the testing facility the same day. Guest will receive the test results via WhatsApp, Email, or SMS, depending on what method of communication they provided at the time. All related costs for PCR testing are borne by the guest, currently priced at USD120 per PCR test.
- Onsite PCR testing: PCR test swabs are taken at the resort, by a qualified medical team. The sample swab is then delivered to the health facility in Male for testing.
Mandatory PCR Testing for all guests travelling to India:
In view of the recent advisory posed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in India, within the context of Covid-19 under the supersession of all guidelines issued on the subject since 2nd August 2020, all travelers to India are required to present a negative PCR test result, taken no more than 72 hours prior to entry.
It is therefore a government mandated requirement for all guests from India to take the test prior to departure back to India. Should a guest refuse to take this mandatory test, they will need to sign a declaration to that effect and absolve Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa of any responsibility resulting from the inability to fly without a negative result and for any other issues related to this matter.

Travel Insurance and Security Deposit at Check-In:
We would like to take this moment to remind you to please inform all guests of the importance of purchasing a travel insurance that covers quarantine costs in the event the test returns a positive result.
The resort will further obtain a security deposit no less than US$1,000 upon check-in. The final value will be determined based on length of stay, meal package and other booking specific details. The objective is to cover the cost of quarantine in the event a guest tests positive. The security deposit will be paid in cash or through pre-authorization on the credit card.
Right to refuse accommodation:
Should a guest fail to comply with the aforementioned security deposit required by the resort, the resort reserves the right to refuse to check-in the guest. In such an incident, the resort will not be held liable on any losses of monies, time and inconvenience caused to the traveler.

Эти тесты также будут доступны для гостей у которых обнаружены симптомы и которые в данный момент проживают на курорте. По прибытии на курорт гости должны сообщить о требованиях к тестам, так как для разных авиакомпаний и стран действуют разные правила.
- Образец будет взят за 96 часов (4 дня) до отправления и в тот же день отправлен в лабораторию. Гость получит результаты теста через WhatsApp, электронную почту или SMS, в зависимости от того, какой способ связи они выбрали. Все расходы, связанные с тестированием ПЦР, несет гость, и в настоящее время они составляют 120 долларов США за один тест ПЦР.

Страхование путешествий и гарантийный депозит при заселении:
Мы хотели бы напомнить всем гостям о важности приобретения туристической страховки, которая покрывает расходы на карантин в случае, если тест даст положительный результат.
Во время регистрации резорт взимает залог в размере не менее USD1000. Окончательная стоимость будет определена в зависимости от продолжительности пребывания, плана питания и других деталей бронирования. Цель состоит в том, чтобы покрыть расходы на карантин в случае положительного результата теста гостя. Залог вносится наличными или путем предварительной авторизации кредитной карты.
Право отказать в проживании:
Если гость не внесет указанный выше гарантийный депозит, требуемый резортом, резорт оставляет за собой право отказать гостю в регистрации. В таком случае резорт не несет ответственности за денежные потери, потерю времени и любые неудобства, причиненные путешественнику.

Domestic Flights into the region Hanimaadhoo
The Domestic flight takes approximately 55 minutes from Velana International Airport to Hanimaadhoo Airport. Our representatives will be at the airport to collect you and escort you to your speedboat transfer from Hanimaadhoo island to JA Manafaru Private Island, which takes 45minutes or thereabouts.
Both Domestic Schedules are subject to change, however parameters are as follows*.
• Departure timings from Male’ to Regional Airport: Early Afternoon (Midday approx.)
Afternoon (1600hrs approx.) Early Evening (1730hrs approx.)
• Departure timing from Regional Airport to Malé: Early Morning (0600hrs approx.) Mid Afternoon (1400hrs approx.) Early Evening (1800hrs approx.)
The above detail is a guideline only, the schedules may change slightly but rest assured we will do our utmost to ensure the best possible connection to the region is reserved for you on the day of travel. Seaplane Flights into the region
Seaplane transfers take approximately 75–90 minutes from Velana International Airport to JA Manafaru Private Island depending on the flight route and remains subject to availability on the day of transfer and at the resort’s discretion.
• Departure timings from Male’ to JA Manafaru: Late Afternoon (1600hrs approx.)
• Departure timing from JA Manafaru to Malé: Early Morning (0600hrs approx.)

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru & Angsana Ihuru
As a precautionary measure, guests arriving to Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru & Angsana Ihuru from other Resorts, Safari Vessels & Guest Houses will have to undergo a PCR test upon arrival to the resort. The hotel will bear the cost of these PCR tests however, the guests are required to be isolated in their own
villa (Limited access to room facilities and beach in front of their villa) until the results of the tests are available. Meals will be delivered to room during the isolation period.
If the test results are negative, the guest will be released to enjoy the rest of his/her stay.
However, in the event the result is positive, the guest, along with his/her accompanying guest/s will continue to be isolated for 14 days in their respective Villa. All expenses for the additional 14 nights will be borne by the guest.
Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru Maldives & Angsana Ihuru Maldives
