The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is set to host an extraordinary culinary celebration as part of Marriott International’s Luxury Dining Series 2026, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs and renowned culinary talents for a series of exclusive dining experiences in the Maldives.

Under the theme “Across the Table,” the event will unite seven exceptional chefs from across Asia, including two-Michelin-starred Chef Emmanuel Stroobant from Singapore’s acclaimed restaurant Saint Pierre, alongside culinary experts from The St. Regis properties in Bangkok, Mumbai, Singapore and Osaka.
The series celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and the art of gathering through immersive dining experiences designed to connect guests with different culinary cultures while surrounded by the natural beauty of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort.
Taking place from 27 to 30 August 2026, the programme will feature a variety of exclusive experiences, from wine tastings and signature cocktail creations to fine-dining menus, cooking classes and unique culinary encounters.
The journey begins with “The Art of Gathering” on 27 August, where guests can enjoy a curated wine experience followed by a special evening at The Whale Bar featuring a signature bar takeover. The night continues at Orientale with an elegant four-course dining experience combining Cantonese, Japanese and Pan-Asian influences.
On 28 August, guests will experience “A Mindful Contemporary Culinary Journey”, starting with a wellness-inspired breathing yoga session led by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant, who is also a certified yoga instructor. The day continues with an exclusive four-hands cooking class at ALBA, where Chef Emmanuel collaborates with Chef Ahmet Özuçucu of The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort.
The evening will highlight authentic Indian cuisine at Cargo, with Master Chef Taj Mohammed Sha from Sahib Room at The St. Regis Mumbai presenting a specially curated family-style menu inspired by regional traditions.
The following day, “Expressions of Seasonality and Culinary Artistry” will showcase Japanese culinary excellence with an Omakase lunch at T•Pan led by Chef Takato Kitano from The St. Regis Osaka. Guests will then enjoy a refined four-course dinner at ALBA by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant, featuring his signature modern French cuisine influenced by Asian flavours.
The experience concludes on 30 August with a Mediterranean-inspired breakfast at ALBA, offering guests a final moment to reflect on the flavours, stories and connections created throughout the series.
