Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group, has announced the opening of NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort, the first NH Hotels & Resorts property in the Indian Ocean. Set to open on September 1, 2024, this luxury resort is located in the South Ari Atoll, just a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé.
The resort promises a unique experience for marine enthusiasts, with direct access to Kuda Rah Thila, a renowned diving site famous for its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. Guests can also embark on whale shark and manta ray spotting adventures, with over 50 dive sites nearby.
NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort features 51 deluxe suites and villas, each offering private pools and elegant interiors inspired by Maldivian landscapes. Guests can enjoy a range of dining options, including international buffets at Sea Spray, fresh seafood at Ocean, and Maldivian cuisine at Malaa. For a relaxing experience, the resort’s spa offers Balinese and Thai treatments, while a fully equipped gym ensures fitness needs are met.
Designed for both honeymooners and families, the resort offers activities like island hopping, diving, coral planting, and big game fishing. NH Maldives Kuda Rah is part of Minor Hotels’ ongoing expansion in the Maldives, joining a portfolio of eight properties in the region.
