Niyama Private Islands has announced an important operational update for travel partners ahead of September 2026. As part of its ongoing commitment to guest safety and service excellence, the resort will carry out urgent safety maintenance at two of its signature dining venues: Edge Restaurant and Subsix Restaurant.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place from 8 September to 17 September 2026. During this period, both restaurants will be temporarily closed while the necessary works are completed.
Edge Restaurant Temporary Closure
Edge Restaurant will be temporarily closed from 8 September, with the maintenance expected to be completed by 17 September 2026.
Although the restaurant itself will be unavailable during this period, guests can still enjoy selected sundowner experiences at Edge Bar on designated days. Guests and travel partners are encouraged to refer to The Playlist for the specific opening days.
Subsix Restaurant Maintenance
The iconic Subsix Restaurant will also undergo maintenance from 8 to 17 September 2026.
Despite the temporary restaurant closure, guests can continue to enjoy one of Niyama Private Islands’ signature experiences, with Subsix Glow Parties continuing every Friday during the maintenance period.
Other Dining Experiences Remain Available
Importantly, the temporary closures will not affect the resort’s wider dining offering. All other restaurants at Niyama Private Islands will remain open and operate according to their normal schedules.
Guests can continue to explore the resort’s diverse culinary experiences, including memorable dining experiences on the beach. This ensures that visitors can still enjoy a varied selection of food and beverage experiences throughout their stay.
