Sinamalé Bridge connecting Velana airport and capital city Male is opened
The Sinamalé Bridge representing the friendship between China and the Maldives has been officially opened on August 30th 2018 after 33 months of the construction. The bridge is 2 kilometers long and 20.3 meters wide and will allow vessels as high as 12 meters to travel beneath it while its highest region will measure about 20 meters. The opening of the bridge was preceded by a laser show and fireworks.
Мост Sinamale представляющий содружетво между Китаем и Мальдивами официально открыт 30 Августа 2018 после 33 месяцев строительства. Сооружение в длину 2 км, и шириной 20.3 метра, позволяет судам высотой 12 метров проплывать под мостом, самая высокая часть составит около 20 метров. Отрытию моста предшествовало лазерное шоу и фейерверк.
This first cross-ocean bridge makes it possible for locals and tourists to transfer between the two islands of Velana International Airport and the Capital city Male on land within five minutes. Sinamale’ Bridge was designed with 4 lanes, which 2 lanes will have 3.5 meters and other 2 lanes will have 3.2 meters. Bus service will be soon available.
Этот первый мост на Мальдивах пересекающий океан сделал возможным для местных жителей и туристов перемещаться между двумя островами, международным аэропортом Velana и столицей Мале в течении 5ти минут по земле. Мост Sinamale имеет 4 полосы движения, 3 из которых шириной 3.5 метров и вторые 2 полосы – 3.2 метра. Рейсовые автобусы скоро станут доступны.
It is also known that 5 weddings were held at the platform of the bridge as part of the week-long celebration of the bridge opening.
Также стало известно, что 5 свадебных церемоний были проведены на платформе моста в честь недельного празднования открытия моста.
