Siyam World Maldives is turning five, and the Noonu Atoll resort is celebrating in true Siyam World style. From 23 to 31 October 2026, guests can enjoy nine days of sport, entertainment, family activities, Maldivian culture and an immersive Halloween experience as part of the resort’s Fifth Birthday Bash. Siyam World fifth anniversary.
Known for its energetic approach to the all-inclusive island holiday, Siyam World is bringing together international sports stars, family-friendly activities and large-scale entertainment for a birthday celebration designed to offer something for every guest. Siyam World Maldives Fifth Birthday Bash.
Rugby with England Star Danny Care
The celebrations begin on 23 October with a three-day children’s rugby camp led by former England rugby star Danny Care.
Running until 25 October, the camp gives young guests an opportunity to learn rugby skills, take part in training sessions and enjoy games on the island. Whether children are already familiar with the sport or are trying rugby for the first time, the programme focuses on learning, participation and having fun.
Football with Gary Cahill and Millie Bright
From 26 to 30 October, the sporting programme continues with football sessions led by former England captain Gary Cahill and England Lionesses star Millie Bright.
Young guests can take part in coaching sessions, football challenges and matches while learning from two highly experienced international players.
For families travelling to the Maldives during the birthday celebrations, these sporting experiences add another dimension to the traditional island holiday.
Family Fun Across the Island
The Birthday Bash extends beyond the sports field with a programme of activities for guests of all ages.
A kids’ carnival brings games, music and entertainment to the island, while the Amazing Race invites families and friends to work together as they follow clues and complete challenges around the resort.
Guests can also take part in the 3K Fun Run, with the route taking participants around the island. Whether running, jogging or walking, the event is designed as a fun way to experience Siyam World together.
Cinema Experiences on the Lagoon
Siyam World is also taking movie night onto the water.
Cinema by Moonlight offers guests the chance to enjoy a film aboard a boat while cruising through the lagoon, combining an outdoor cinema experience with the natural setting of the Maldives.
For something even more unusual, the resort’s JetCar Drive-In Cinema lets guests arrive on the water and watch a movie from their JetCars. It is a distinctly Siyam World take on the classic drive-in cinema.
28 October: Celebrating the Maldives
The highlight of the birthday programme arrives on 28 October, when Siyam World officially celebrates its fifth anniversary.
The day will place the Maldives, Maldivian culture and the resort’s team at the centre of the celebrations, with local food, music, traditions and creativity taking over the island.
The celebrations will culminate in a special birthday stage production, giving guests the opportunity to experience the people and culture that are at the heart of Siyam World.
As Sara Siyam, Director of Marketing at Sun Siyam, explains, the anniversary is ultimately about celebrating the Maldives and the team behind the resort’s identity and energy over the past five years.
CULT CLASSICS: A Halloween Experience at Siyam World
The Birthday Bash concludes on 31 October with CULT CLASSICS, Siyam World’s 2026 Halloween celebration.
Inspired by iconic horror characters and the golden age of horror cinema, the immersive experience will transform the resort into a theatrical Halloween world featuring themed sets, live performances and interactive encounters.
The evening begins with a horror walkthrough before moving into a theatrical production featuring music, live entertainment and dark humour. The night then continues with a Halloween party.
Rather than simply decorating the resort for Halloween, Siyam World is creating an experience that allows guests to become part of the story.
Experience Siyam World’s Fifth Birthday
From international sporting talent and family activities to Maldivian culture, lagoon cinema and an immersive Halloween finale, Siyam World’s Fifth Birthday Bash brings together nine days of experiences from 23–31 October 2026.
Taking place at Siyam World Maldives in Noonu Atoll, the celebration offers another reason for families, couples and groups to experience one of the Maldives’ most dynamic island resorts during October.
