Expanding Presence in Europe
In an important step toward strengthening its European markets, Silvia Collepardi has joined Sun Siyam Resorts as Sales Representative for Spain, Portugal, and The Nordics. With more than 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality and leadership roles at leading international resort brands, Silvia brings deep expertise in sales representation and commercial strategy. Through her boutique consultancy, she has successfully represented premium destinations across Europe-experience that will be instrumental in growing Sun Siyam’s presence in this key region.
Empowering Internal Growth Across Properties
Sun Siyam’s success is also built on recognizing and empowering homegrown talent, as reflected in several internal promotions across its Maldivian resorts:
- Adam Afsan has been promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing at Siyam World, Maldives. Having previously served as Director of Sales, Adam now leads both sales and marketing operations, drawing on his extensive experience at Soneva and Six Senses to further enhance Siyam World’s global visibility.
- At Sun Siyam Iru Veli, Swati Dogra takes on the role of Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing. Since joining the brand in 2021, she has worked across multiple properties, demonstrating exceptional capability in driving revenue and building lasting trade partnerships.
- Moosa Ahmed has been elevated to Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, where he has been instrumental in advancing the resort’s MICE and leisure business. His leadership was key in hosting a landmark 1,000-person MICE event and earning Olhuveli recognition as the Best MICE Destination at the Travel Trade Maldives Awards.
- Also at Olhuveli, Jiayi Deng (Denise) has been promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager. Since joining in 2022, she has played a central role in expanding the resort’s presence across China and East Asia, focusing on destination marketing and MICE development to strengthen regional engagement.
Strengthening Corporate Strategy
Within the corporate office, Eenas Ahmed has been promoted to Contracting Manager, following her success as Assistant Business Development Manager. In her new role, she will oversee contract negotiations with global partners, ensuring seamless alignment across Sun Siyam’s commercial and operational strategies.
