Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2024 has concluded its eighth edition with resounding success, marking a significant chapter in the event’s history and in the development of Maldives’ tourism. Let’s Go Maldives proudly participated in the inaugural edition of TTM and has now returned to this vibrant platform after several years to explore the latest industry developments.
This year’s event, held from August 21st to 22nd, brought together over 1,000 participants, including more than 500 travel trade professionals, 100 resorts, and 250 agents and tour operators from around the globe. With more than 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings, TTM 2024 once again proved its value as a critical hub for fostering connections and driving business in the Maldivian tourism sector.
Our COO, Mr. Bassam Adam, attended TTM 2024 to assess the progress and growth since our initial participation. His observations highlighted the significant evolution of TTM, which has expanded in both scale and impact, becoming a cornerstone event in the global tourism calendar. The growth in participant numbers, the introduction of new award categories, and the enhancements in the TTM Connect portal all underscore the strategic advancements TTM has made over the years.
The positive atmosphere and the spirit of collaboration at TTM 2024 were particularly noteworthy, reflecting the robust and dynamic nature of the Maldives’ tourism industry. This year’s edition not only facilitated productive business discussions but also set the stage for future innovations and partnerships that will further elevate Maldives tourism.
Let’s Go Maldives is excited to leverage the insights and connections gained from TTM 2024 as we continue to contribute to the sustainable growth of the Maldives as a leading global destination. We extend our gratitude to all who made this event a success and look forward to the promising opportunities that lie ahead.
