Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is preparing to welcome a new culinary experience to the resort with the upcoming arrival of the internationally acclaimed Em Sherif restaurant later this year.
As part of this transition, Yasmeen, the resort’s current Middle Eastern dining venue, will temporarily close while the space undergoes transformation to become the new home of Em Sherif, one of the region’s most celebrated dining concepts.
During the renovation period, guests will still be able to enjoy a selection of popular Levantine flavours through a specially curated pop-up menu available at Tasting Table.
The addition of Em Sherif is expected to further enhance the resort’s diverse dining portfolio, offering guests an elevated culinary experience inspired by authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and the restaurant’s renowned hospitality.
To support the transition, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi has also released an updated resort map reflecting the upcoming changes.
Travelers planning a stay at the resort in the coming months can continue to enjoy the resort’s extensive collection of restaurants and dining experiences while anticipating the debut of Em Sherif.
