I was impressed by its amazing beaches and the special vibe of this new resort. The resort opened in September 2023. It’s very modern and stylish. Ifuru Island Resort is located on Raa atoll in 25 minutes by a seaplane from Male. It’s also possible to fly by domestic flights which take around 35 minutes. Domestic airport is located on the same island as the resort. It may seem that there may be too much noise from it, but in reality you don’t hear it.
The resort is located on natural island Ifuru with lots of greenery. The sand is also natural, it’s white and soft. Ifuru island is big enough to explore by bicycle. The area of the main swimming pool is very modern and stylish. Has a touch of Hawaiian style. The resort has a few types of accommodation for families and couples. All rooms are on the sunset part. I liked beach villas with pools for its privacy and a beautiful design. It has a good entrance to the sea suitable for children. I recommend to book Family Suites for families . There are no Water Villas due to the concept of the resort. The best snorkeling on a house reef you may find in 80-100 metres from the coast.
Spa center offers a large variety of spa procedures and includes some holistic treatments like “Sound healing” and also beauty salon. I like the variety and quality of food in Ifuru Island Resort. You have 6 different dining options including 2 restaurants and 4 bars. In the evenings I enjoyed music – at a disco. It was really modern and high quality music in my opinion. Starting from November guests can try skydiving here as it will be less windy. It’s a very interesting, even unique experience. I would recommend it for those who are looking for a great vibe and modern design, especially young couples, singles and families.
The best snorkeling on a house reef you may find in 80-100 metres from the coast. The snorkling equipment is free of charge. The hotel provides also a boat for snorkling trip according to the schedule of water sports activities. There are some great diving spots in some min by boat from the Resort.

I like the variety and quality of food in Ifuru Island Resort. You have 6 different dining options including 2 restaurants and 4 bars.There is only one meal plan at the moment , it’s Premium All inclusive, which includes differents dining options, a great choice of drinks (including some premium level drinks),a choice of water and sport activities, like kayaking, tennis, billiards,table tennis, paddle boarding free of charge.
