O Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa está localizado nas ilhas virgens de Dhonakulhu, no norte das Maldivas. Um santuário tropical entre o céu e a areia, recebendo os primeiros hóspedes em 2005. Hideaway Beach é um dos poucos resrots em Haa – Alifu Atoll, e nossa marina é a primeira de seu tipo nas Maldivas.
Nosso suntuoso resort oferece o cenário perfeito para um retiro glamouroso. Dhonakulhi é uma grande ilha em forma de crescente com 297.000 m². Sua praia de areia branca se estende por mais de 1 quilômetro um de cada lado, e as águas azul-turquesa de sua lagoa profunda da cintura abrigam uma vida marinha rica e colorida. A ilha é formada de forma única, e sua estrutura de recife é dividida em duas partes distintas por um porto natural para a Marina. Finalmente, Dhonakulhi abriga várias árvores tropicais (bananas, cocos, fruta-pão…), bem como uma variedade de arbustos endêmicos e manguezais.

The Hideaway Palace comprises of five exclusive individual Villas which sit on top of a beautiful timber deck and are surrounded by a number of private Infinity Swimming Pools, giving an impression that they are floating on water. Our Meeru Bar, situated on the beach, has a unique design – in that the roof structure is like the inside of a boat’s hull and the deck area extends over water giving fantastic sunset views. Meeru Bar also features a Grill Station and Salad Bar in the evenings, where you can select your favorite seafood or meat to be cooked live to your choice of perfection. You will find a wide selection of pizzas and other fresh snacks from the a la carte menu of the Meeru Grill. In addition to the 750 cubic metre Infinity Swimming Pool facing the Indian Ocean, 32 metres in length and22 metres in width, with attached Jacuzzi and children’s pool as well as poolside service, The Island Hideaway has also made sure that all other forms of water sports are catered for – from speedboat trips to catamaran sailing, water skiing, snorkelling, windsurfing, canoeingand wakeboarding. And those wanting to experience a bit of local color can sail out on a traditional Maldivian Dhoni boat or their own yacht to one of the nearby inhabited islands.
