Explore the local life of Lhaviyani Atoll’s islands Naifaru or Hinnavaru. Our Villa hosts will take you around the island and show the school, harbor, little streets and shops of the community.
The fragile marine life of the Maldives needs protection. The local island Naifaru is located 30 minutes away from Kanuhura by Dhoni and is home to a turtle sanctuary taking care of injured and sick turtles. The volunteer Marine Biologists are nursing over 20 turtles of various species, age and size back to health. Learn about the marine life of the Maldives and see these fragile animals up close
