It has very green well-planned territory. Modern and huge main restaurants. Restaurants/bars of different cuisine for different wishes. Food on breakfast/lunch/dinner (buffet) is very varied (Varity is like for 5*).
Amazing house reef with a variety of inhabitants (We saw turtle and big manta)
A lot of activity (not only water-sports and also tennis court, badminton court, gym, snooker, table tennis, beach volleyball, beach football etc.)
Good SPA. Small classical style rooms. All rooms are not spacious, have the same design, clean but not fresh. Not all water villas are semi private. No kids club

Olhuveli
It’s a beautiful resort with natural style and cozy atmosphere. Territory is well maintained and green. Views are beautiful! Amazing pictures especially for honeymooners. Nice wide coastline surrounds island, entrance to the ocean is perfect for children – white silky sand without any corals or pebbles. House reef is very good, nice snorkeling. Also different water sports are available. For example wind surfing is popular among tourists in summer period.
For children they do not have kids club, there is a kids swimming pool and kids playground.
Rooms are nice, comfortable. Some categories are in 2floors blocks.
SPA is located on island. Different procedures are available.
Food is delicious, nice variety of different cuisines. Very good service, friendly stuff.
Resort is perfect for families, also good for romantic holidays.

I had the pleasure of seeing Sun Siyam Olhuveli last week. It was great to actually visit the resort now that we have been selling it so much for many years.
I enjoyed the short stay and had a great chat with them about that.
I do think it is an exciting island, which offers a lot of different things, and they also have many different room types, which means that they can offer many different price ranges.

Sun Siyam Olhuveli is located in South Male’ Atoll, 45 min by speedboat from Velana International Airport. A unique experience spread across 3 islands, 4* deluxe property with 11 bars & restaurants, 4 large swimming pools, kids club, children’s pool, 3 spas, water sports & dive center, gym, tennis & badminton courts, table tennis, volleyball & billiards and exciting excursions.
Some of the highlights: even though it is a 4* hotel, you will get more than you are expecting in terms of service. The territory is big and the choice of food outlets makes your culinary journey more diverse. There is a very calm lagoon in between 2 islands, which is convenient for any beginners or even children to swim.
There are big colourful parrots living on the islands and guests can meet them in the evening.
The house reef is accessible from the arrival jetty area next to water sports center, it will be ok for the beginners. But to see more diverse underwater world in the Maldives we recommend you to go for the excursion such as secret shipwreck snorkelling. And if you are very brave to try swimming with nurse sharks in Vaavu Atoll, which is absolutely exciting experience.
