Centrally located for guests staying on Dream Island, Malaafaiy is the island’s main restaurant open from morning till night. In Dhivehi, ‘Malaafaiy’ means “delicious” or “tasty”. Big green island of 3 parts, totally felt like in Maldivian village, very simple and cozy. providing different types of accommodation, a lot of choices for food. Big difference between malafayi (for upper accommodation level ) and main restaurant (for all categories). 1st is very good!
Resort has problems with beach, only one part of the island (near water villas dream island part) can be considered as Maldives. Others have a lot of sea grass and beach looks like small lake. There are also difficulties with transportation, as shuttles run infrequently and are almost always full. Hotel is popular for Indian Market.

Large green resort, consists of 3 islands – connected by small bridges. The rooms correspond to the declared price of the hotel. Family hotel. Large selection of food in restaurants. Buffet restaurants are divided into 2 – for different categories of rooms. There is a big lagoon. Not everywhere the beach is beautiful – there are sea grass. But this also has its own charm – the hotel has its own turtle, which lives in the ocean and is a regular guest of the hotel. The hotel calls the reason for this – algae. Also, the hotel has the opportunity to watch manta rays and luminous plankton. Again, the hotel comments that they do not violate the eco system of the island.

The island is big and consists of 3 parts connected to each other by bridges. The islands offer a large variety of room types and dining options.
Sun Siym Olhuveli has cosy beach villas and grand beach villas with pools. The rooms are quite spacious and looking fresh and full of light.
On a Dream Island there are beautiful Grand water villas with pools. They look very new, very spacious and stylish. Have enough privacy and can be great for couples.
Romance Olhuveli is a new resort only for adults. Romantic beach villa with pool and Romantic Water villa with pool have a good level of privacy and a romantic decoration with a big round bed.
Rooms in Dreams and Romance parts have higher category and price than Olhuveli.
Olhuveli has a dine around option. There are 7 restaurants and 4 bars in total. The food is good, there is a good choice of dishes and cuisines.
The spa center provides professional treatments with a very affordable price.
The resort has daily entertainment programs with a live music band or beach parties.
The beaches have some nuances. Sometimes it can be very low level of seawater, in some places you can see the sea grass.
There can be difficulties with transportation, because the island is big and the shuttles go not so often and they are almost always full.
I would recommend this island for all guests who want to enjoy Maldives at a very affordable rate. The resort has a good correlation of price and quality.
